2.2. Rozenhoedkaai
Make sure you don't leave Bruges without visiting the iconic Rozenhoedkaai.
A perfectly picturesque spot where the Groenerei and Dijver canals cross each other - this
was a mooring place for boats in the middle ages. It was at this very spot that traders would
load and unload their cargo (which was mainly salt in those times).
As Rozenhoedkaai is a water feature, it's a great idea to take a boat cruise in order to see all
of the beauty that this location has to offer.
Fun Fact: Rozenhoedkaai is the most photographed spot in all of Bruges!
The quaint architecture that can be found alongside the canals is of a style that is typical of
Bruges. While it is possible to walk alongside some parts of the waterways, a boat tour is
another great way take in a new perspective of the city.
