4 dual-polarized L-probe patch antenna array using “differential feed”
approach with the open-ended SICs is designed and implemented for 60-GHz appli-
cations. The configuration of the proposed antenna array is shown in Fig. 18 . The
proposed antenna array is composed of 16 “differential feed” L-probe antenna el-
ements, compact dual polarization SL feeding network, the open-ended SICs, and
two GCPW to SL transitions for probe station testing. The element spacing of two
adjacent patches is 3.8 mm (0.76
λ 0 ). The total size of the proposed antenna array
excluding the measurement transitions is 15.4
