Conclusion
This chapter investigates the design considerations for the implementation of low-
power UWB sensor nodes. The common UWB transmitter design techniques are
analyzed, while paying attention to their suitability for WBAN applications. Al-
though many IC-based implementations of the UWB pulse generators are reported
in the literature, only few studies demonstrate the full implementation of the UWB
