could not be evaluated, because of inadequate assay methods. A more recent human
clinical study sought to measure plasma TACA concentrations after intraocular injec-
tions of doses of 20-25 mg. TACA plasma concentrations fell below the limits of
detection in 17 out of 19 subjects (90 %) using an LC-MS/MS method that had an
LOQ of 0.5 ng/mL. The plasma samples analyzed here were obtained from a group
of 93 pigs that were administered TACA to the posterior segment of the eye via
