moving at a desired trajectory. One pairs of Helmholtz coils and
Maxwell coils can generate propelling force in one dimension. By
adding coils at different orientation, we are expecting to achieve 3D
steady control of MSPs cluster. This method will also make sense
by introducing magnetic pattern device to generate a preliminary
pattern of MSPs irst and then utilizing MSP motion control system
for improving the MSPs distribution. Currently speciic shaped
dissolvable magnetic model has been fabricated by our group.

However, further investigations should be carried out in
following:
High gradient magnetic ield is necessary to provide suficient
magnetic force for MSP's motion control, also high 3D gradient
magnetic ield is dificult to be generated only by combination
of Maxwell coils and Helmholtz coils due to the space
interference at different coil orientations, speciic mechanism
should be developed to cooperate with combined coils.
External image capture system should be further developed
for providing on-line position information of MSPs as feedback
control.
