6.5.1
Saccular Aneurysm with Bleb Model Design
As cerebral arteries are prone to the formation of saccular aneurysms,
anterior cerebral artery was used for reference. This artery has an
average inner diameter of 4 mm, as general guideline for aneurysms
with 5 mm diameter in this blood vessel present a rupture risk of 1%
within the irst year and surgery is not recommended at this stage
[11-12].
