11.3 Force Sensor
A force-sensing resistor (FSR) is a device that consists of a polymer thick film (PTF)
the resistance of which decreases in proportion to the force applied to its active surface.
This device is extensively used in human touch control of electronic devices. Figure 11.4
demonstrates the structure of the sensor and its different components.
