Live cell adhesion is possible on both coated and uncoated
M1-type carbon meshes. The HA coating signiicantly increases
cell adhesion to the carbon meshes (Fig. 10.22). The adherent
cells show spanning of 10-40 μm across the coated M1 carbon
ibers (Fig. 10.21) [19].
