Top Tips
If you purchased a ticket online, look for the ticket dispensers in front of the theatre
and in the basement passage from the subway station. Just insert the credit card you
used to purchase the ticket.
Arrive 30 minutes before the start of the show to allow time to pick up an earphone
guide and a bentō . The earphone recording begins 10 minutes before each act, with
background information about the play.
Take a Break
During intermission (usually 30 minutes), it's tradition to eat a bentō at the theatre.
Order one in advance to eat at the restaurant Hanakago ( 3545-6820; bentō
¥2100-3500) on the 3rd floor or purchase one (around ¥1000) to eat at your seat from
any of the concession stands inside the theatre or in the basement passage.
