Take a Break
You can spend the night at Fujisan Hotel ( 0555-22-0237; www.fujisanhotel.com ; per person
without/with 2 meals from ¥5700/7900) , a mountain hut at the Eighth Station. Reservations
are essential. Other huts, offering simple meals and spartan sleeping facilities, are loc-
ated at stations five through eight. Most huts will let you rest inside if you buy
something, and have toilets you can use for a fee (usually ¥100).
