On the 3rd floor is a fine survey of a thousand years of Chinese ceramics, from the
sea-coloured celadon works of the Song dynasty (960-1279) to the delicate
painted porcelain of the Ming dynasty (1368-1649).

This neat little hands-on exhibit allows you to try out three different ways of tradi-
tional fortune-telling, including shagai , the Mongolian divination technique using
ankle bones. Explanations are in English and this is another corner that kids will
enjoy.
