Ueno
Ueno is the cultural heart of Tokyo and has been the city's top tourist draw
for centuries. At the centre of the neighbourhood is a sprawling park,
Ueno-kōen, home to numerous museums, including Japan's grandest, the
Tokyo National Museum. There are also temples, shrines, century-old res-
taurants and an open-air market - all of which lend Ueno a classic, tradi-
