Top Tips
Every day at 8am and 2pm a priest strikes a large drum as part of a ritual offering of
food to the deities enshrined here. This is the best time to visit.
If you're lucky, you may also catch a traditional wedding procession - just try not to
get in the way.
You'll likely attract guards if you get your camera out too close to the main shrine.
The rule of photo-taking here is this: if there's a roof over your head, it's a no-go.

At the entrance to the shrine, overlooking the wooded path, Mori no Terrace ( OFFLINE

and ice cream.
Purveyor of delicious dumplings, Harajuku Gyōza Rō ( Click here ) , is a 10-minute walk

The famous fashion subculture bazaar where aspiring goth-lolis (Gothic Lolitas)
come to shop. The narrow alley is a pilgrimage site for teens and the pedestrian
traffic can be intense, especially on weekends. (
