open-air space nestled in the middle of the complex.

In winter months, look for beautiful illuminations along Keiyakizaka-dōri, on the
southern edge of the complex.

Keep in mind that Roppongi Hills, including the Mori Art Museum, can get crowded
on weekends.

Designed by Kurokawa Kishō, this architectural marvel is the country's largest ex-
hibition space. Opened in 2007 it has no permanent collection, although shows
have included international blockbusters and the annual Japan Media Arts Festiv-
al. It's also worth visiting for the undulating glass facade, cafes atop giant inverted
cones and excellent gift shop.
