- Databases: By navigating and searching in the database one can become acquainted
with general information, traditional and innovative assessment, and physical,
chemical, biological and ecotoxicological monitoring methods, transport and fate
models, environmental technologies which can maintain environmental health
or remediation technologies such as soil remediation or waste treatment. A
waste database with generic and concrete characterization of solid wastes is also
available. The database collects online information on ready-made datasheets,
specific for:
General information such as organizations, projects, conferences and courses;
Assessment and monitoring using physical, chemical, biological and ecotoxi-
cological methods and transport and fate modeling;
Environmental technologies: soil remediation, soil reclamation/amelioration,
wastewater treatment, solid waste treatment, air treatment, noise and vibration
control;
Waste characterization and availability;
