Human health impacts
at work and in the environment should be in the focus of
decision making. The socio-economic characterization of the relevant costs and bene-
fits has made good progress. Characterization and calculation of impacts and impact
rate are based on the information about existing risks, types of hazards, related dis-
eases, number of endangered or damaged individuals and groups, screening levels,
limiting values, etc. There are several databases which provide basic information for
ERA and SEAs:
-
ACCIS: Automated Children Cancer Information System;
-
Carcinogenic risk on humans: Monographs;
-
CAREX: Workers exposed to carcinogens;
-
CHRIS: Chemical Hazards Response Information System database;
-
CICADs: RAs for Priority Chemicals in Relation to Concise International
Chemical Assessment Documents: Exposure and Hazard;
-
Combined Exposures: Collection of Case Studies on Risk Assessments of Com-
bined Exposures to Multiple Chemicals;

TEAM, NHEXAS and MACBETH Projects;
-
CPDB: Carcinogenic Potency Database;
-
EAT: ECETOC Aquatic Toxicity Database;
-
ECO: European Cancer Observatory;
-
ENCR: European Network of Cancer Registries;
