action of organotin(IV) complexes with calf thymus DNA revealed that no disrup-
tion of DNA double helix structure occurs. Neither does any DNA degradation
occur through oxidative stress mechanisms.

The question of how organotin com-
plexes may inhibit tumour growth remains, as yet, unanswered.
