should be discontinued. Rock phosphate can be brought in to increase phosphorus. The
soil food web must be improved, too.
Gypsum is often used at 10-30 pounds to fluff the soil and bring more air in. A soil con-
ditioner can also be used for this purpose, as well as biostimulants such as kelp, humic
acids and some form of sugar to feed the soil biology. Compost could be tremendously
helpful, and tilling may be necessary to bring air in, too.
