magnetic mineralogy, ARM, applied with a peak alternating field of 100
mT and a bias field of 50 μT, was used for the rock magnetic cyclostratig-
raphy. The authors point out that the high coercivity hematite, if present
in a sample, would not be activated by the 100 mT peak alternating field
