5. With the last extrusion selected, perform another extrusion ( E key), press Escape ,
and then move it by 0.05 units in the negaive direcion of the Y axis ( G key, Y key,
then type -0.05 ).
6. Now extrude the selected verices, press Escape , and then scale the new extrusion
by a factor of 0.9 ( S key, then type 0.9 ).
Finally, we just need to perform another extrusion. Press Escape , move the new
geometry 0.1 units in the posiive direcion of the Y axis ( G key, Y key, then type
0.1 ), and then fill the inner face by pressing the F key. The following screenshot
shows the progress so far:

At this point, we're going to add the materials to the object. The reason to do this
right now is that it will save us some repeiive work later. Noice though, we are just
going to create the placeholders for the materials and not set them up completely.
8. Go to the Material tab in the Properies Editor and add three material slots.
Then select the second and third slots and make sure that they have independent
materials assigned to each one of them of them by clicking on the plus buton next
to the name (do this only if there is a buton with a number to the right-hand side of
the material's name).
9. For each material, locate the name text field (just below the Assign , Select ,
Deselect row of butons); then name the irst material bricks , the second
frames , and the third windows .
