SHOES
Founded in 1963 by racecar enthusiast Gianni Mostile, Car Shoe's handmade moc-
casin with its tiny rubber nubs (so your foot won't slip on the pedal) earned a pat-
ent from the Italian Ministry of Industry and Trade as well as a cult following
among powerful style icons such as JFK. To counter the lothario rep, it now also
does ranges for women and kids.

SHOES
Casadei's new signature shoe is called the 'Blade', a dangerous looking steel-heeled
beauty in candy colours: lime green, lemon and orange. Milanese girls dream of
these hip, but surprisingly wearable, beauties, which are placed on pedestals (liter-
ally) in an all-white temple on Via Sant'Andrea.
