50km northwest of the city centre.
Malpensa Express ( 800 500005; www.malpensaexpress.it ) Departs every 30
minutes from Terminal 1 to Stazione Centrale (€10; 52 minutes) and Cadorna's
Stazione Nord (€11; 40 minutes) between 6.50am and 9.20pm. Outside these
hours there are limited bus services. Passengers arriving or departing from Ter-
minal 2 will need to catch a shuttle bus to the Terminal 1 train station. This is the
best option between Malpensa and Milan given the traffic.

minutes; every 20 minutes between 5am and 10.30pm, ticket office 7am-9pm) Runs between
the airport and Piazza Luigi di Savoia outside Stazione Centrale, every 20 minutes
from 5am to 10.30am, and approximately hourly throughout the rest of the night
(€10, 45 minutes).
Taxi There is a flat fee of €85 to and from Malpensa to Milan. The drive from Mil-
an should take around 50 minutes outside peak hours. For travellers to Terminal
2, this might prove the quickest option, given poor connections between the two
terminals.
