Switch HANA archivelog
Just before beginning the actual migration, you should switch the HANA archivelog mode
to overwrite. This will prevent the HANA system from spending an excessive amount of
time logging activity during the data import from the existing BW system.

Download updated exception tables
When you are preparing for a Unicode conversion, you need to download the exception
list for the SPUMG or SPUM4 exception tables. Each of these tables has a new entrance
screen, and you will need to upload one of the text files or xml files attached to SAP Note
996990 in order to update the exception tables.
The latest and greatest!
Make sure you upload the latest version of the text and xml files that
are available, as they will have the latest Unicode conversion in-
formation available.

Upgrade SAP Host Agent
If you do not have the latest version of the SAP Host Agent installed, you should upgrade
to the latest version. To do so, you will need to first download the latest version of
SAPHOSTAGENT.SAR from the SAP Marketplace. Then use the procedure in Figure 5.1
to install the upgraded version.
