Before upgrade task list
For BW systems that are using version 7.0 SP31 or higher, you can use transaction STC01
to create an SAP_BW_BEFORE_UPGRADE task list. The program required to create this
task list is included in SAP Note 1734333.
As with the other task lists described in this chapter, the SAP_BW_BEFORE_UPGRADE
task list is intended for use as an incremental tool to help you get your system ready for the
upgrade to BW 7.4 and migration to SAP HANA. You should create the task list and refresh
it periodically in order to verify your progress in preparing the system for the upgrade and
migration. If you choose to simply display the task list, you will see a screen similar to the
one shown in Figure 4.4.

You can also maintain the task list as you complete items from the list. See Figure 4.5 for an
example of the task maintenance screen.
