Performance monitoring in SAP BW
To monitor the key performance of your SAP BW on HANA system from BW, start with
transaction code DBACOCKPIT, which should be available in any SAP system that is con-
nected to SAP HANA. This transaction provides much of the same information that is avail-
able from HANA Studio on the S YSTEM O VERVIEW tab. The DBACOCKPIT is shown in
Figure 7.3.

User privileges matter!
When accessing the DBACOCKPIT, you should consider logging in-
to the SAP front end with the user DBACOCKPIT. By logging in as
the DBACOCKPIT user, you may even have more access to the data-
base in general than will be available in HANA Studio.
