First, you will need to create projection nodes for the
HOST_SERVICE_COMPONENT_MEMORY table for system tables, row store tables,
and column store tables. You will also need a projection node for the
HOST_SERVICE_MEMORY table, which you can use to get information about the oper-
ating system code and stack, the total memory used, and the allocation limit. From these
two tables, you can create the temporary calculations needed to monitor the overall system
memory usage in your HANA appliance. When you have finished creating the calculation
view shown above, you will be able to view the overall memory usage in your HANA en-
vironment in real time, as shown in Figure 7.2.
