8. Restart the BW on HANA database.

12. Identify large tables to be split to increase the export and import speed using the fol-
lowing process:
a. Select all objects from the database that are larger than 15,000 MB.
b. Select all tables from the database with more than nine million rows.
c. Calculate the number of splits required for each object.
d. Sort the list of objects alphabetically.
e. Store the list in the proper syntax in TabInFile.txt.
f. Save TabInFile.txt in the /root/EXPORTS /<SID> directory.
13. Request configuration of the SAProuter for the SAP HANA database.
14. Configure SAProuter for the SAP HANA systems and test the SAProuter connection
to the HANA server.
15. Create SAP user in preparation for customer messages.
16. For access to HANA Studio and the BW system, install the latest HANA client and
latest version of HANA Studio.
17. Download the latest HDB revision.
18. Download the latest SWPM or SUM for DMO version.
19. Verify and upgrade HANA database software to the latest version.
20. Upgrade HDB client on the PAS server.
21. Check that hardware is operational in the BW on HANA system.
22. Lock all dialog users, except DDIC, Administrator, and project team member users
in the interim BW.
