Housekeeping tasks
The numerous housekeeping tasks that are required to prepare your system for the DMO
process are outlined in this section.
Use the interim BW
Unless otherwise specified, complete the tasks in
Section 6.3.10
in
the interim BW system.
1. Archive IDocs (transaction SARA - write archive files for archiving object IDOC).
2. Archive IDocs (transaction SARA - delete archived IDocs).
3. Archive request administration data (transaction SARA - write and delete archive files
for archiving object BWREQARCH).
4. Fill in parameters for task list SAP_BW_HOUSEKEEPING.
5. Execute PCA task list SAP_BW_HOUSEKEEPING in the interim BW with the fol-
lowing options:
a. Repair indexes on InfoCube fact table(s) at the Data Dictionary level.
b. Re-assign requests written into the incorrect PSA partition.
c. Ensure request consistencies throughout the PSA landscape.
d. Ensure partitioned tables are correctly indexed for the PSA.
e. Verify data source segments' assignment to PSA.
f. Delete the entries that are no longer required in table RSIXW.
