The DMO migration
If you have made it this far, you must have already completed the instructions on how
to prepare for your SAP BW on HANA migration in the previous chapters of this
handbook. Now that you have completed the steps to prepare for your DMO migration,
it is time to take a detailed look at the migration process. This chapter is a deep dive
into an actual DMO migration, including step-by-step instructions based on an actual
DMO runbook from the world's largest SAP BW on HANA migration. We have also
included a task list with more than 600 tasks that were performed as part of the same
DMO migration, as well as tasks to be completed as part of the post-migration process.
