For those with large BW systems!
Do not enable read access monitoring for all the fields and users
within very large BW systems. Doing so can create log files which
will quickly become unmanageable in size.
SAP BW 7.4 even includes five new authorization objects, including:
1.
RSHAAP for HANA analysis processes
2.
RSHAOT for HANA analysis elements
3.
S_RS_ODSV for Open ODS views
4.
S_RS_HCPR for HANA CompositeProviders authorization
5.
S_RS_ODSP_H ODP for extractions from HANA
When you are ready to begin the security upgrade, you can use RSEC_MIGRATION from
transaction code SA38. From the
E
XTRAS
menu, choose
M
IGRATIONS
and then select the
correct migration option from the dropdown list. Once you have completed the upgrade,
you can use transaction code RSECADMIN to build the authorizations.
