Begin at the parking lot to the visitor center. Turn left on Meadow Road and cross Valley
Road and Holly Spring Road.

Bear left at the fork toward Conifer Road.

Visit the slow-growing conifer collection on your left. Then return and bear left onto Hickey
Hill Road. Visit the Dogwood Collection.

Follow Hickey Hill Road to the entrance to the Asian Collections. There are restrooms
here, near the parking lot.

Exit the Asian Collections at China Valley and continue on Hickey Hill Road. Turn right on
Holly Spring Road and see the Holly and Magnolia Collections on your left.

Return to Hickey Hill Road and turn right. The entrance to Fern Valley is on your right.
Walk through this display, exiting on Ellipse Road.

Stop at the National Capitol Columns overlook if you wish.
