for the meadow and a relaxing spot to view the gardens.
The path that winds along the meadow leads back to the Herb Garden. Nearby is the small Friend-
ship Garden. The plants here are easy to maintain and look like what one might find in a residential
garden. The Arbor House Gift Shop in the garden sells books, cards, gardening utensils, and snacks.
There are also restrooms here.

Begin at the visitor center. From the patio on the outside, walk to the far right corner and
turn right onto Meadow Road. Turn right and then left into the Herb Garden.

Leave the Herb Garden and continue on Meadow Road to a parking lot on your left. Turn
left and follow the path up to Mount Hamilton.

From the summit of Mount Hamilton, retrace your steps to Meadow Road. Turn right and
then left into the entrance to the Perennial and Boxwood Collections.

Rejoin the road and follow it to the parking lot for the Azalea Collection, which will be on
your right.

From this parking lot, walk off the road into the Azalea Collection. Follow the walking path
through the collection to where it exits farther down Meadow Road.
