Starting off from Ohio Drive, walk through the memorial and exit along the Tidal Basin,
moving toward the Jefferson Memorial.

Cross the inlet bridge, staying to the right and heading down steps to the riverside path.
Walk along the path to the end of the peninsula.

Arrive at Hains Point. Continue around the tip of the peninsula and then walk on the other
side of the peninsula, along Washington Channel.

Turn left at Buckeye Drive and walk across the peninsula back to the riverside path. At the
bridge, turn right and walk to the Jefferson Memorial.

Visit the Jefferson Memorial. Return to the inlet bridge and walk back into West Potomac
Park.
