things, to express themselves in creative ways, to better communicate, to take care
of themselves and each other, and to contribute in positive ways to self and society?”
(Bers, 2006; 2008c). Informed by the strengths and assets of young people and by
what goes right in children's use of technology, PTD focuses on supporting them in
developing positive attitudes, predispositions, and skills for using technology with
the goal of becoming contributors to their own personal growth and to society (Bers,
2008a, b).
