Arborescent (tree-like) lycopods at Gilboa
include Amphidoxodendron , ? Sigillaria ,
and Lepidosigillaria (Grierson and Banks,
1963). Lepidosigillaria is one of the best-
known Devonian trees, and a famous
example was found at the town of Naples,
in the Finger Lakes region of western New
York, in black mudstone (Banks, 1966).
