10.2.26 Floating Current Conveyors
Floating Current Conveyors (FCC) were introduced by Soliman and Saad in
[ 66 ]. An FCC is a four-port element characterized by V y ¼
V x ,I y ¼
0, I Z+ ¼
+I x
and I Z_ ¼
as
special cases. Similarly, floating ICCIIs have also been defined in [ 66 ]. These
elements are easily realizable in CMOS and are useful in some situations, such as
in realizing two output VCVS. Investigation of other applications is open to
investigation.
2I x . The floating CCII, thus, includes both CCII+ and CCII
