Start at the Wilderness Trail trailhead, identified by green markers, and head southwest.

Pass a dirt path coming from the woods on the right. Continue following the Wilderness
Trail.

Reach a circular clearing with three trails branching from the circumference. Follow the
circle around to the right and take the second trail. It is marked with an orange trail mark-
er, indicating it is Wilderness Trail, and heads west.

Reach a Y and take the right branch, still heading west, onto the Wildlife Trail. Pass along
a curving stone wall, about 4 feet high.

Reach a T just before Red Oak Road. Take the right branch, heading north. The San An-
tonio River is on the left.

Reach a trail marker with blue and orange identifiers and follow right, still heading north.
The picnic area along the river is to the left, and Red Oak Road is on the right. Continue
following the trail north.

Reach a large stone obelisk with a sign next to it with a large park map. Take a hard right,
heading east, and cross Red Oak Road. Use caution crossing the road. Tuleta Drive is on
the left.

Follow the trail and make a hard right (south) as the trail approaches Brackenridge Road.
Continue following the trail south back to the trailhead.

Arrive back at the trailhead.
