Introduction
You can either open an existing document or create a new one to work on in Illustrator.
Whenyoucreateanewdocument,youcancreateonefromscratchoruseoneofthebuilt-in
profiles, such as print, web, mobile, devices (iPad, iPhone, Xoom, Fire/Nook or Galaxy S),
film, and video. The built-in profiles make it easy to create documents forspecific purposes
without the hassle of specifying individual settings. However, if you know the individual
settings you want, you can create a new document from scratch.
At the same time you create a new document, you can also create multiple artboards. Art-
