Saving as a SVG
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a vector based format, like the Illustrator AI format,
that describes images as shapes, paths, text and filter effects. Vector images can be resized
without sacrificing sharpness and clarity. The SVG format is XML-based, which allows
you to add code (XML and JavaScript) so that the web graphic can respond to user ac-
tions. Things to remember when you save a document to SVG, each layer is converted
to a group (<g>) element, objects appear transparent based on opacity, use slices, image
maps, and scripts to add web links, and symbols and paths improve performance.

Enter a name for the file in the File Name (Win) or Save As (Mac) box.
