Type a name for the symbol.
• You can also double-click the name, edit it, and then press Enter (Win) or
Return (Mac) to rename a symbol in the Symbols panel (

).

The two symbols are the same and linked to the same instances on the artboard.
• To make them different, click the
Break Link to Symbol
button on the panel,
and then edit it.
