Scaling Type
Scaling
allowsyoutomaketypewiderornarrowerforhorizontaltypeandtallerorshorter
for vertical type. You can use the Horizontal Scale and Vertical Scale options in the Char-
acter panel to modify type. If the scaling doesn't look quite right, you can always use the
Undo command to reverse it.
Change Type Scaling Horizontally or Vertically
Select any type tool, and then select the type that you want to change.
• You can also select the
Selection
tool, and then click the type object.
Select the
Character
panel.
