resizing, or opening and closing windows, you can use the header bar with the panel tabs
to collapse or expand individual panels within a window to save space. When you want to
resize a panel, there is a handy Resize bar (

!
) at the bottom of the panels that need it,
not all panels have a Resize bar.
Open and Close a Panel
Click the
Window
menu.
Point to a submenu (if needed), such as Type, Extensions, or a library (Brush,
Swatch, etc.).
Click a panel name, such as Color, Layers, or Navigator.
A panel name with a check mark indicates the panel is open.
