Use any of the following methods to create or adjust a variable width stroke:
•
Create a Width Profile.
Create or select a variable stroke width, click the
Profile
list arrow on the Stroke panel, click the
Add To Profiles
button, type
a name, and then click
OK
.

Apply a Width Profile.
Select a path, click the
Profile
list arrow on the
Stroke panel, and then select the width profile you want.
•
Remove a Width Profile.
Select the variable stroke width you want to re-
move, click the
Profile
list arrow on the Stroke panel, and then click
Uni-
form
.
•
Flip a Width Profile.
Click the
Profile
list arrow on the Stroke panel, select
the profile you want to flip, and then click the
Flip Along
or
Flip Across
but-
ton.
•
Delete a Width Profile.
Click the
Profile
list arrow on the Stroke panel, se-
lect the profile you want to delete, and then click the
Delete Profile
button,
and then click
Yes
.
•
Restore the Default Width Profile Set.
Click the
Profile
list arrow on the
Stroke panel, click the
Reset Profiles
button, and then click
OK
. This re-
moves any custom saved profiles.

Using the Eyedropper Tool
The Eyedropper tool on the Tools panel makes it easy to quickly pick up a color from
one area of your artwork and apply it to another area. When you click an object with the
