artwork as it will appear in final output, either printed or viewed on the web or a mobile
device. If you like a certain view with different options than the Preview or Outline views,
you can also create and work with custom views.
Change the Display View
Preview View. Click the View menu, and then click Preview .
Outline View. Click the View menu, and then click Outline .
To view all artwork in a layer as outlines, Ctrl-click (Win) or Command-click
(Mac) the eye icon for the layer in the Layers panel.
To view all items in unselected layers as outlines, Alt-Ctrl-click (Win) or Option-
Command-click (Mac) the eye icon for the layer in the Layers panel.
Show Print Tiling. Click the View menu, and then click Show Print Tiling . To
hide print tiling, click the Show Print Tiling command again.
Create a New View. Set up the view the way you want, click the View menu,
click New View , enter a name, and then click OK .
Rename or Delete a View. Click the View menu, click Edit Views , select a view,
rename it or click Delete , and then click OK .
Switch Between Custom Views. Click the View menu, and then select a view by
name.
