All features have been enabled to work in 64-bit
to provide faster processing, quicker application of effects, and a smoother work-
flow. 32-bit plug-ins don't work in the 64-bit version of Illustrator. Windows users
can choose between the 32-bit and 64-bit versions, while Mac users use the 64-bit
version exclusively.

The user interface has been rede-
signed with the ability to choose a different interface color by selecting from a
range of tonal values between light and dark themes. Four presets are available
