Note:
The 1977-78 and 1978-79 field seasons were joint ventures with the ANSMET and NIPR (Japan) field parties. Many of the samples were split in half and reside
in both collections. However, some smaller samples were allocated to either one or the other collection. As a result, the U.S. collection contains only 248 meteorites
from the 1977-78 season (52 are at NIPR) and only 228 meteorites from 1978-79 (77 are at NIPR). The numbers in this table include all of the samples collected by
the field parties.
