identifying measures to quantify its expansion. The sensitivity of the territory to undergoing process-
es of land consumption has been examined, taking as a reference morphological parameters such
as acclivity, the exposure of hillsides, and altimetry 17 . The weighted sum of the indices of each cat-
egory serves to define the associated value of the overall index of sensitivity to urbanization. Dark
brown denotes high sensitivity to urbanization. The settlement and infrastructure history have, in
