Fig. 8.7.3 REM (Marche Environmental Network). Geobotanical worth. The map of geo-botanical
worth represents, together with the maps derived from it (maps of landscape structure, naturalness,
and landscape trajectories), a valid tool for evaluating the level of environmental quality and
vulnerability in the study area, and it allows the identification of the most important areas for the
conservation of phytosociological biodiversity, which would contribute to the construction of the
REM node system. Close to red are the classes of greatest worth; close to yellow are lower classes.
