can be understood as interesting indicators of emerging territorial transitions in the
framework of farming and food production activities. Using the multi-level perspective
(Geels, 2010), AAFNs represent a niche with conventional (long) food supply chains
representing the regime. A dedicated cluster of AAFN case studies was therefore chosen
as part of this research, with case studies situated in France, Greece and the Czech
Republic (Fig. 10.1).
