body. External bodies only control the quality system of the manufacturer;
the results of a specific number of index tests are defined and can be used with
safety.
It should be noted that the results of index tests, as required for the CE marking,
can only be used indirectly, for design index tests by nature do not take into consid-
eration the interaction with the ground. Table B.1 shows which tests are necessary for
the applications in this manual.
